FOGPhotonics’s polarization
maintaining fiber (PMF) is specially designed for fiber optical gyroscopes
(FOGs) and polarization-sensitive components ,plarimetric sensors, integrated
optics and communications applications.This kind of fiber exhibits extremely
low attenuation and excellent birefringence characteristics, and uses in a
variety of demanding applications.
PANADA Type fiber has two Stress Applying Parts (SAPs) act as opposing
wedges generating optimum stress distribution within the fibers, giving the
very best in performance.Also the Small OD Panda fiber designed by FOGPhotonics
has a better Bending capacity than Traditional PM fiber with OD value at
170um(80/170um).This fiber has Low bending-induced attenuation and excellent birefringence characteristics at the Bending diameter at 0.95cm.
